Berkeley Vale Rugby League

Welcome to season 2011. After last seasons ground breaking season for our Senior Club and the enjoyment experienced by playing the great game of Rugby League by our Juniors, our club is primed for another great year!!

2010 saw our Seniors claiming their first ever Club Championship, including two premierships for our 17’s and 2^nd grade sides, plus 1^st grade being narrowly defeated in the Grand Final. Our 19’s made it one game off the Grand Final, making season 2010 our greatest achievement in our clubs history. Congratulations also go out to last year’s 13-2’s junior side who claimed Premiership glory in their division. Special mention also goes out to our open age side from last year, who played the game with great spirit and proved to be very entertaining.

I’d also like to take this opportunity to announce our major sponsors for 2011, we welcome BGW Technologies, The Bay Sports Club, Chittaway Tavern, Berkeley Vale Cellars, Tumbi Wholesale Meats and Mingara. Without their financial support our club would not be able to function as it does, so please get behind all of these businesses and let them know how much we appreciate them. Our club is also blessed with a myriad of minor sponsors from within our local area, so when you are in need to any services, please check out our sponsors page and direct your business to them, and once again let them know that the reason you are using them is because of their support of our great club!!!

Registrations have already commenced for our juniors with numbers looking very promising, as is the case with our senior club who are looking to build on last season’s success. Once again I’d like to invite everyone to our Friday night’s bar, which will commence from the 4^th March. We will also be holding a few social events throughout the season and I’d like to encourage all members to make an effort to attend them as not only are they helping raise funds for our club but they are also a great opportunity to meet up with other club members and meet new friends.
